FISHING CLUB

The St George Motor Boat Fishing Club caters for a diverse group of anglers including males, females and juniors in a fun, friendly and family oriented atmosphere welcoming all who like to fish. The emphasis is on having fun, enjoying our waterways, enjoying good company and most of all fishing. We fish Botany Bay, ‘Outside’ or from the land.

Competition days are twice a month (Saturday & Sunday). See calendar below.

After a hard days fishing enjoy the social get-together where you can tell ‘tall’ fishing tales and enjoy a casual lunch.

The competition covers a wide range of categories allowing everyone from Kids to grandparents to compete. Points are awarded to each fish’o on the day based, largest fish, number species and total length. See rules for full details.

Other events in our Club Calendar include: Xmas Lunch with great food and tall tales. Ladies Day – the one day when anything goes for our lady anglers. Tournament Day – with cash prizes and Trophy’s for various species. Presentation Day – announcing the season’s winners, presenting the Trophy’s and culminating with a fabulous buffet lunch.

The joining fee is $30 for the first year for the whole family and $20 thereafter per year. Membership to the Mother Club is essential;
