St George Motor Boat Photography Club has been an active sub-branch since 2017.
The not-for-profit organisation meets on the second and last Tuesday of the month and provides professional presentations, photograph evaluation sessions, workshops and monthly outings. The club is open to all ages, and skill levels. Visitors are always welcome.
The first meeting for 2020 will be held on January 14 at the St George Motor Boat Club. Meetings run from 7.30pm to 10pm.
Members share their knowledge on photography from image to print, using practical techniques to teach the basics of image making, workflow, composition, camera techniques, post production software, art printing, portfolios and exhibitions.
A number of the club’s highly skilled photographers are always willing to provide practical advice both during club meetings and outings.
The club has a website where you will find a gallery of the members latest photographs as well as the current yearly Program, Membership Form and a Member Welcome Booklet. A Facebook page is also regularly updated with upcoming events.
